TO THE EDITOR OF THE TIMES.

Sir,—It was very gratifying to see in the English Press the recognition of the sacrifices undergone by Russia in this war, amounting to nine million casualties. As these sacrifices have saved France and helped the Allies, surely that is something worth remembering. But how is it these magnificent Russian deeds seem to be quite forgotten by the Peace league and Russia is not mentioned among those who have claims of participating in the German indemnities? It cannot be said that true Holy Russia has no representatives. The Conference has several Russian statesmen within easy reach in Paris to represent the courageous and spirited General Кoltchak, the founder of the Senate, the Duma, and the sacred oath of allegiance in Russia, who is now supported by 40 million determined patriots in Siberia.

Faithfully yours,

OLGA NOVIKOFF.
